A musical based on the lives of a ‘90s boy band, Backstreet Boys, is being planned, revealed the band’s star Brian Littrell. He said he has been secretly working on the musical about their journey to fame for a while now, reported Broadway.com.
“I’ve been working on a Backstreet Boys Broadway show for four years now,” Brian said.
“We can’t talk about it! It doesn’t have a name yet. It’s based on the story of our lives -- growing up, achieving what we did as a unit, but going through great times, downfalls and struggles, because it’s not easy.”
The pop star added that he was aiming to create a show similar to Cirque Du Soleil and The Four Seasons’ musical, Jersey Boys.
