Back in 1990, producer Gulshan Kumar recorded the music of his super-hit film Aashiqui at Sudeep Studios in Andheri. And now, years later, his son Bhushan Kumar, head honcho at T-Series, has decided to launch the music of his upcoming project, Aashiqui 2, at the same location.

As the studio was run-down, Bhushan decided to renovate it for the launch. Bhushan says, “We are happy to be launching Aashiqui 2’s music at Sudeep Studios. I have fond memories of my father working there on the original film and found the venue apt to share that connect with the sequel. We are going all out to renovate the studio for the big day. It’s something my father would be proud of.”

The film, directed by Mohit Suri, stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.
