Singer Shaan, who will be performing in Noida today as part of Hindustan Times Noida First celebrations, says he always enjoys performing in the city. “It’s always wonderful to perform in Delhi, especially in NCR regions like Noida and Gurgaon that have big stadiums that can stage grand performances,” says Shaan.

Presented by Jaypee Greens, the theme of the show is ‘To Noida With Love’ and the 39-year-old singer is looking forward to his performance. “Audience in Delhi is great and very receptive. The best part is that there are all sorts of people who come to attend the shows here, be it youngsters from the campus, working professionals or families.”

Reminiscing the change in the audience expectations, the Tanha Dil singer says, “Taste of Delhiites has matured over the years. Earlier, people always asked us to sing only Punjabi songs or do some bhangra. But

thankfully, that has died out. People are much more willing to listen to diverse genres and appreciate music.”

Shaan is also in the process of releasing his new single, a party song. “The song is titled Khudgarzi. It’s a club song, but it’s still underway,” informs the singer, who actively participates in music reality shows on TV. “The musical appeal of these TV shows attracts me. Also, I get to witness such great talent. Some of the singers sing amazingly well,” he says.
