With songs like Words and Everyday I Love You, he was an essential part of the growing up years of a lot of us. Boyzone lead singer Stephen Gately's untimely death at 33 has shocked many. While fans are still in mourning, city pubs and clubs are planning special evenings in the singer's memory. DJ Rummy Sharma of the pub Pure informs, "We have a night dedicated to Gately on Wednesdays."

Rajeev Bajaj, general manager The Kylin Experience says, "We will be dedicating an hour between 10.30 and 11.30 to Gately everyday where we will play his songs and dedicate other numbers to him." "FBar and Lounge too will play Gately's songs on busy nights, mostly weekends, as a tribute to him," says CEO Deepali Narula.

Meanwhile fans still can't get over the news. Zack Sitlhou, a Boyzone fan says, "It's a sad thing to have happened at a time when Boyzone makes a comeback. I've grown up on Everyday I love you and Baby can I hold you..." Arushi Sen, 22, says, "He was such a cutie. I'll really miss him."
