American rapper and singer, Flo Rida, best known for the chartbuster single Right round, which was featured in the Hollywood smash hit The Hangover, is on a short tour of India, and will be performing in Pune and Bangalore, today and tomorrow respectively.
Morph Entertainment, a Pune-based event management company, is getting the hip hop star down to India, as a brief stop on his way back to USA from his tour in the South East.
But the rapper is surprisingly skipping Mumbai. When asked why he couldn’t be brought down to Mumbai as well, Morph Entertainment’s Shailendra Kekade says, “We could only bring him to either Mumbai or Pune, because we knew that people from the other city would drive down for it. We chose Pune because it’s an upcoming metro and attracts a great crowd for such events.”
The event, which will see a long, one-hour performance by Flo Rida, accompanied by a b-boying act, is expected to have a turnout of around 2,000 people.
