An open sky with music to soothe your soul — such was the ambience at Fio, Garden of Five Senses — where sitarist Ustad Shujaat Khan launched

Lajo Lajo

, his new album of compelling folk songs.

The album, unveiled by Delhi chief minister Sheila Dixit, is based on a popular folk song that Khan had heard some 18 years ago. The maestro has sung the classic song in a new way, keeping the original finesse intact. Seen enjoying the musical event were Arun Nehru, Anju Modi, Mala Sekhri, Kusum Lata Sawhney, Latika Dikshit and many more.
