It is exactly 10 days to Christmas Eve and the countdown to the beginning of a new year. I am sure the holiday mood has already begun to set in.

It is exactly 10 days to Christmas Eve and the countdown to the beginning of a new year. I am sure the holiday mood has already begun to set in. So here I am again, pulling out a few happy, uplifting songs to lift your spirits and put that spring in your step.

Holiday – Madonna: The quintessential holiday and celebration song that has now become an irrefutable classic.

ChristmasThe Safety Dance – Men Without Hats: One of the unique one-hit wonders of the ’80s, I bet you can’t sit down when that groovy synth riff plays.

Wonderwall – Oasis: How many of you will always remember the lyrics, no matter what? Coz after all when that acoustic rhythm plays, you know what to shout.

Cloud No. 9 – Bryan Adams: Surprised? Are you? Why? It’s a great song and I know you sing it whenever it plays. So what if it’s Bryan Adams, you will still go to the show.

Deep – East 17: The now forgotten British rappers once had a few big hits in the ’90s. This was one of them. Take a walk on the beach and listen to this.

Dancing In The Streets – Martha Reeves and the Vandellas: A long time ago in the early ’60s, our grand parents went wild to this one. Put it on and I’ll see you do the same.

Life is random and so are these selections, I leave you to find your own uplifting randomness, If I may say so.
