Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has a special place in his heart for Delhi and Gurgaon . Dosanjh who performed in Gurgaon says, “ I once visited the YouTube headquarters in California, USA and they said that my videos are mostly watched in Delhi and NCR. They appreciate my work and it is their love and affection that keeps bringing me back. The city never seems new to me. I get as much love here as I get in Punjab.”Vaise Delhi ke log sabhi genre ke gaane pasand karte hain.Hum Punjabi folk artists ko bhi utni hi izzat di jati hai jitni bakio ko”

Dilji also talks about his love for Delhi food. “ I love the street food in Old Delhi. Food here is similar to that of Punjab and this is one more reason, this city feels like home.”

The artist started his career as a singer and later became an actor. He has also performed in theatre but he believes to be a good actor, one doesn’t have to be from the world of theatre. “Acting and singing are quite parallel. Being in the industry, it becomes easy to cope up with both,” says Dosanjh.

Talking about his growth in Bollywood, the actor said, “Whatever I am today it is because of Punjabi cinema and music. Punjabi cinema gave me recognition and because of it I got offers in Bollywood. I am enjoying this growth. I owe everything to Punjabi cinema.”
