Strumming the right tunes while living it up, various bands from India have the audiences wanting more. And being on the go is a part of their routine, thanks to back-to-back concerts.
But when they are not shunting from one stage to the other, their resting spots are airport lounges, and bus rides with a backpack doubling up as a pillow.

We talk to a few bands about their nomadic experiences, and how these experiences make some of their journeys worthwhile, but other ones a little tiring.
While the band loves performing, the aspect of travelling gets exhausting.
"The travel gets you all tired. We have back to back shows in Delhi and we love to do it. Just taking a flight, going for sound check, performing, hitting the road to travel to another place and so on tends to take a toll. But you can never get tired of playing music," says singer Rahul Ram.Parikrama
Exciting and fun is how the band’s bassist, Gaurav Balani, describes the aspect of travel.
"Performing at various gigs makes me very happy. Airports and hotels are like our offices. We interact with so many different kind of people, and jam with various bands when travelling together. It is a one big party that keeps rolling and rolling," he says.Indus Creed
Performing at different places gives an opportunity to travel. But lead guitarist Mahesh Tanaikar says they do not get a chance to see the places they visit properly.
"I like travelling but I also like to maintain a balance. Sometimes when we visit a place for a gig, we do not really get a chance to see it. We just reach, perform and return," he says.
