Jaa Chudail, said with a Mithun thrust

Highlight Story

Mithunda's pelvic thrusts need no introduction but that it would be used in an almost misogynistic manner is possibly something even he hadn't anticipated.

After Bhaag DK Bose and Nukkadwale Disco, Delhi Belly's next song Jaa Chudail too is creating ripples, this time it's about using Mithunda's disco pelvic thrusts.

In the video, actor Vir Das is dressed up like Mithun Chakraborty in Disco Dancer, and goes about hitting and manhandling a bride on her wedding.

While DK Bose sparked off controversies with its lyrics, Nukkadwale was said to be a take on Ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas. And now, the Jaa Chudail number may just be construed as misogynist.

Interestingly, this is not all. Another promo of the film has a shot of Imran Khan mouthing maa-behan gaalis at his maamu Aamir.

“It’s all in fun. But it will shock Aamir’s and Imran’s fans. Aamir has always been known to be this no-nonsense guardian-like figure to Imran. And we presume that his nephew is afraid to some extent of his uncle. Therefore, to see him let off a chain of

maa-behen gaalis

to Aamir is quite a shock,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Like all the other songs from the film, this one too is filled with sexual innuendos and the message to the audience is fairly clear. This film is not for the prudes and puritans, you can certainly expect some action here.
