Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Yuvraj Singh, Kangana Ranaut, and Shah Rukh Khan have joined hands for a musical tribute to the King of Pop.

On August 29, as the world remembers Michael Jackson on his 51st birthday, the industry stalwarts will be seen crooning We lived in his world on leading TV channels. The video is King Khan’s brainchild and is produced by his Red Chillies Productions. It is directed by Samar Khan in a dim-lit set that has MJ’s unique style to it.

Remo has choreographed the video while singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kay Kay and Shreya Goshal have not just lent their voices but will also be seen performing in it.

Said Shekhar of Vishal-Shekhar duo, the composers of the song, “We shot the video on Wednesday night.

It was Shah Rukh’s idea that was liked by all and we decided to thank MJ in our own way.” “Though it is an original composition, it does possess the feel of Jacko’s music. It has his charm to it,” he added.

While Hrithik would express his love for MJ by giving a couple of heartfelt messages in the video, Shahid said, “I instantly agreed to it because of my huge respect for MJ.”

Sunidhi couldn’t thank Shah Rukh Khan enough for this opportunity. “MJ is like oxygen to all musicians. And I being probably his biggest fan, appreciate SRK’s effort to keep him alive in our hearts forever,” she said.
