Pop sensation Selena Gomez, who had taken a break from singing to focus on her mental health, received much support and love from fellow musicians for her speech after she won the Favourite Pop/Rock Female Artist at the American Music Awards this year.

Biggies like Lady Gaga, Camila Cabello and Alexandra Raisman took to the social media to congratulate the 24-year-old singer’s moving acceptance speech.

While accepting the award, Gomez spoke out about her break from the limelight in an emotional address.

“I have to say thank you so much to my fans, because you guys are so damn loyal, and I don’t know what I did to deserve you,” she expressed in the speech.

“But if you are broken, you do not have to stay broken. And if that’s anything, whether you respect me or not, that’s one thing you should know about me is, I care about people. And thank you so much for this, this is for you,” she concluded.

Alongside an Instagram photo of herself embracing Gomez, Gaga wrote, “So dope I got to hang with the biggest rockstar of the night.(Ya,know besides Sting and Green Day) the girl with the biggest prize of all a BIG Heart that she shares with the world.”

Gaga later posted another Instagram message that concluded saying, “Just remember what Selena said. If you’re broken, you don’t have to stay broken.”

Raisman, the Olympic Gold medallist, shared a portion of the singer’s speech in a Twitter video, writing, “Amazing!!! @selenagomez looking so effortlessly beautiful. Love the message. Congrats, well deserved.”

Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello gushed about the Same Old Love singer, sharing a video of the acceptance speech on Twitter and writing, “I love you.”

Earlier in August, Gomez took a career break to focus on her emotional health. Multiple sources confirmed the star recently sought professional treatment to get back into a positive standing.
