MY GUITAR ACADEMY
This academy teaches both acoustic and bass guitar in four levels each. Each level is four-months long and comprises the theory and practical aspects of the musical instrument. Here, teachers impart one-to-one lessons to their students. This is an added advantage here, as crowded classrooms usually leave less room for inquiries. The institute has a well-trained faculty. ART TREE ACADEMY OF MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS
This academy is frequented by college-goers. They provide group as well as individual classes. The academy holds regular workshops and concerts that enable them to gain more experience, provide a platform to showcase their skills and infuse confidence. They are also trained to take grade examinations that are held in the school premises and are conducted by examiners from Trinity Guildhall London or the Rock School London.

SCHOOL OF SYMPHONY
Here, learning guitar has more to do with practical and theory classes. With separate courses in acoustic or electric and bass guitar, the students also get practical exposure to the instrument. The school also provides additional reference material, such as workbooks, CDs and free workshops on theory and other music-related topics. It has two centres in the Capital — Dwarka and Lajpat Nagar.

DELHI GUITAR SCHOOL
This 15-year-old guitar school boasts of alumni, such as Saurabh Chaudhry — the lead guitarist of the Parikrama band. Here, a student undergoes a formal certificate programme, that includes an exam conducted by Rock School in UK and Trinity College of London. Students here are expected to buy their musical instrument from JD Musicals, which has a tie-up with the school.
The school also has a provision for demo classes, where prospective students can go for a trial run before they enroll for the classes.
The school also teaches keyboard and drums, along with guitar.

PARIKRAMA SCHOOL OF MUSIC
This school was started by the members of the Indian rock band, Parikrama. It aims at providing quality music classes and promoting Indian rock and fusion music. Sonam Sherpa and Saurabh Chaudhary of the band, along with lead guitarists of other bands form the faculty, besides teachers from the Trinity School of Music, London. There are three level of courses in offer — basic, intermediate and advanced. At the end of each level, students have to undergo a graded examination conducted by the Trinity School of Music, London.
