Ali Zafar’s look from Paris schedule leaked on the web.
The producer of London Paris New York is upset and undergoing stress. Reason: their protagonist, Pakistani singer-turned actor Ali Zafar’s look in the film has been leaked on the web way before time. Producer Shristi Behl is now trying to be doubly cautious so that the episode doesn’t get repeated.
"It’s very difficult to stop something that comes out online. It’s so scary. I don’t know how to control that but I have to make sure that rest of the shoot happens under tight security," says Behl adding, "I’m sure it didn’t happen while we were shooting in London for over a month. But I think it happened in Paris where there isn’t a great craze for Hindi films."
London Paris New York is a coming of age love story. Actor Aditi Rao Hydari plays the lead opposite Ali. Still reeling under the unfortunate situation, Shrishti reveals, "There are three looks for the three cities. We are trying to protect it as much as we can. The Paris look got leaked. We are not shooting at the Eiffel Tower or any other popular tourist attraction. We are actually shooting at some realistic locations in the city." "It’s very difficult to stop something that comes out online. It’s so scary. I don’t know how to control that but I have to make sure that rest of the shoot happens under tight security," says Behl adding, "I’m sure it didn’t happen while we were shooting in London for over a month. But I think it happened in Paris where there isn’t a great craze for Hindi films."
So, is an image makeover on the cards? "We can’t change the leaked part but we have to up the security for the Paris schedule and now, also New York schedule. We have shot for only three days and all this has happened," rues Shrishti. "We have some more days in Paris and the full New York schedule to go. I can’t let it happen again." The shooting is likely to wrap up by mid-November, and the film releases in the first quarter of 2012.
