Singer Gurdas Maan had a live concert in the Capital recently. Held at the Talkatora Stadium, Maan made Delhiites sway to the flavour of his Punjabi folk music as he glided through his popular songs, danced and even interacted with the audience. Maan sang his hit numbers — Challa and Dil Da Mamla. “It is always a humbling experience to perform for the people who have given me so much love and affection for so many years. Delhi has always been a special city to perform. I was touched to see so many people at the concert,” says Maan.
Recently, he was honoured with a doctorate from The University Of Zolverhampton. He continues to stay in dema-nd on the live circuit scene and recently performed to more than 30,000 fans on his UK tour in April this year.
