Heroes singer Mariah Carey used the popular micro blogging website 'Twitter' to unveil the name of her much awaited studio album.
Carey told her followers that she is using the website to launch the album as a gesture of her love for her fans, reported Mirror online.
"I want you to be the first to know the title of my new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. It’s very personal and dedicated to you," wrote Carey.
The 39-year-old superstar whose last album E=MC2 had debuted at the number one position in the US, did not reveal any more details about the future project, though it has been reported that she is working with producer The-Dream.
Carey has a total of six number one albums in the US to her credit tying with Janet Jackson for third spot in the list of the most number ones by a female artist ever. The top spot belongs to Madonna.
