Celtic Ragas Band led by UK-based music composer Chinmaya Dunster, performed at the event to raise awareness regarding environment-related issues. Present at the do were climate change champions — students from India as well as countries such as Germany and South Korea — recognised by the Yuva Meet 2010. We saw British Council’s Director Programmes India and Sri Lanka, Charlie Walker, British Council’s Climate Security Project Regional Head, Dr Sudhanshu Sinha, Director education India and Sri Lanka, Sally Goggin, and TERI’s Associate Director youth education and action, Ranjana Saikia.
