Popular music director Aadesh Shrivastava has been diagnosed with cancer again. The composer was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai a couple of weeks ago. Doctors have said his condition is critical, according to a report in Indian Express. The composer was diagnosed with blood cancer back in 2011 and had successfully overcome the disease. His family has kept the news of his relapse under wraps, reports DNA.
The DNA report adds that Aadesh was unhappy with Bollywood for having ignored him back in 2011 when he was first diagnosed with the illness. Among those who visited Aadesh then were Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Shekhar Suman, lyricist Prasoon Joshi and director JP Dutta.
However, singer Lata Mangeshkar tweeted on hearing of Aadesh’s cancer relapse.
