Highlight Story

Music composer Abhishek Arora, who has worked on films like Vicky Donor, Bluffmaster, Tere Bin Laden 2 and, discusses his work, music and more in a candid chat with HT.

Arora has also composed music for Bindass's show Love by Chance.

Why did you decide to take up Love By Chance?
I have been associated with bindass for quite some time now, my last title track for Yeh Hai aashiqui was a huge hit amongst the audiences... therefore when Bindass approached me again with Love by Chance, I readily accepted it. As a youth brand, bindass is always open to experiments that gives my creativity also a great boost

Is composing for the show any different from composing for films?
Medium for me does not matter, as long as its creativity and composition for a track I always give my 100 % to it. For me medium does not decide the songs I compose.

How involved were the producers of the show in your work?
Producers play a very critical role, since they give me the basic outline of the show, theme and after many meetings we finally concluded the look, feel, background score of the title track that brought forth the concept of the show very clearly

Should we expects peppy numbers or romantic ones in the show?
Creativity should not be restricted and therefore I too believe that my talent should not be limited to one genre only. I love experimenting with different genres. Some of my recent compositions like Tere Bin laden part 2, Running are very different music from my past compositions.
