When US civil rights activist Jesse Jackson's daughter, 16-year-old Ashley Jackson, expressed a desire of becoming a singer, her famous father wasn't too impressed. But as fathers are, he gave her his consent but not before setting firm rules for Ashley to follow. And sitting right up on the list is a strict ban on the use of n-words in her raps.

A representative of Ashley Jackson revealed that the 73-year-old civil right activist's daughter grew up with zero tolerance for profanity and though she is making a career in music things have not changed, reported TMZ.com.

The activist previously encouraged hip-hop artistes to stop using the n-word in their rhymes in 2006.
