Led Zeppelin, an English rock band that was active in the 1960s and throughout the 1970s, will not be reuniting anytime soon.
This heartbreaking message came through loud and clear on Tuesday with sarcasm and stoic silence. Just the mere mention of the topic set lead singer Robert Plant off at a news conference in New York for the bands upcoming concert film, Celebration Day.
At the film’s premiere later in the evening, guitarist Jimmy Page set the record straight about a potential reunion. “I think it’s disappointing for people when the answer is no,” CBS News quoted Page as saying. “That’s what it is now,” he added.
