Experimental rock giants Radiohead are believed to be working on a new album, as it appears from the cryptic messages of frontman Thom Yorke. In recent days the musician has made a series of suggestive tweets.
In his most explicit message, Yorke said that he and Stanley—presumably longtime friend Stanley Donwood, who has designed Radiohead’s cover art—were “going through 15 years of discarded words and pictures”.

Yorke said that Radiohead has done “overdubs” in its studio, but that the British rockers were in their “second day only”. The hints confirm an earlier statement by the band’s lead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, who told the BBC that they would start recording a new album in September. The album would be Radiohead’s first since The King of Limbs (2011), an experimental work that they sold from their website.
