Believe it or not! The oldie dirty dancing with sexy Jennifer Lopez is none other than Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise. Cruise and Jlo set the stage on fire at the MTV Music Awards held at the Universal Studios in California, on Sunday.

Dressed as a fat and balding man, Cruise reprised his character Len Grossman from the 2008 film Tropical Thunder for the raunchy dance on JLo’s hit song, Get Right. This wasn’t the only stunning turn of events. Actress Sandra Bullock, who won the MTV Generation Award, shocked the audience when she pulled actress Scarlett Johansson into a lip-lock. “Now that we’ve done that, can we please move on,” said Bullock, trying to prove that she was over her divorce from Jesse James.
It was Christina Aguilera’s futuristic dance that stole the show. During the sequence a male dancer licked her thigh, while another felt her up intimately. The other show stealer was Twilght Saga. The film won the Best Movie, while Robert Pattinson won the Best Male Performance and Global Superstar for his role as Edward Cullen. Pattinson and Kristen Stewart also won the award for the Best Kiss for the second year running.

India connect at the awards
For the first time in the history of the MTV Movie Awards, someone of Indian origin hosted the show. Actor-comedian Aziz Ansari, born in Columbia to Tamil Muslim parents who emigrated from Tamil Nadu, came into spotlight after the comedy show Parks and Recreation. However, Ansari’s stint as host was a tad too brief, and fans were left wondering why the host was given such less air time. But, in the short time he did spend on stage, Ansari managed to bring the house down!
