The Kabul fiza singer was reportedly miffed with Rohit Shetty, the director of Sunday, and Tusshar Kapoor for replacing him in the song Manzar. Raghav Sachar however has a different story to tell and asserts that he has gotten over the episode.
Story so far
Sachar was initially supposed to feature in Manzar.
"The production house informed me a night before the shoot that they were replacing me with Tusshar," says Sachar adding that he is nevertheless happy with the way the song has shaped up.
"I think a section of the media assumed that this incident had lead to animosity between Tusshar and me. That's rubbish."
The production house, he admits, should not have kept him in the loop till the last minute.
"But they told me very frankly that wanted to rope in a more known face from the film industry. I didn't mind that," he says.
Though Sachar says that he wouldn't call the production house's behaviour unprofessional, he admits that he is hurt.
"I don't think anyone has the right to waste an artiste's time like this. But all's for given and forgotten," he says adding that he is looking forward to working with the team again in the future.
"I have nothing against Tusshar or anyone else for that matter," says Sachar. Ask him if he clarified matters with Kapoor and he says that he doesn't know the actor well enough to call and clear matters with him.
"I'm not a controversial person. It is unfortunate that silly episodes like these spoil equations in the industry he ," sighs.
