Singer Armaan Malik, who came up with his cover of the popular international hit Sorry by Justin Bieber last month, wants to “create more English numbers” for his international audience.

“I always wanted to sing English songs, ever since I was like 10 or 12 years old. I was the first one to cover it (Sorry) and fans have really liked it,” he says.

However, Armaan, who has sung a few tracks in the upcoming movie based on the life of MS Dhoni, doesn’t want to promote his English music in India. “I am not sure if India is the right place to promote such music. I don’t think there are still enough people who listen to English songs. My dream is to go big someday internationally,” he says.

A big fan of Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber, Armaan says, “If I do something related to English music, it will be definitely in the direction of R&B and pop. I like electronic music and would love to do something in that space as well,” The singer, who is inspired by actor Priyanka Chopra, says, “She paved the path and what she has done is commendable. We can see more and more artists taking risks and going international.”
