It’s time we move over the Bieber fever and get ready to ‘Get Loose’! American record producer and rapper Lil Jon will be visiting India for the first time to perform a live DJ set in the Capital, this month.

The ‘Turn Down For What?’ and ‘Outta Your Mind’ hit maker will be visiting the city for three days and is expected to perform a 90-minute set at Kitty Su, a club at The Lalit Hotel in Connaught Place. The hip-hop and trap set is expected to be part of a party with the DJ that is expected to start at 10pm and culminate with his performance. “We’ve planned a 90-minute set that will include some of his best hits. Lil Jon is expected to arrive on May 20 and will be staying till May 22,” said Swati Jain, a representative from The Lalit Hotel.

Apart from performing best of his hits for the Delhi crowd, the Grammy award winner will also be visiting various places across Delhi and sampling some of the local cuisine. During his stay, chefs from the hotel will also be serving him two specially curated menus — one that will be for the duration of the stay and the other which will be specially crafted for the time slot during which he performs. “We are always keen on exploring such opportunities and bringing them to India, thereby increasing the expectations and then surpassing them repeatedly,” said Keshav Suri, Executive Director,The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group.

For those fearing that the tickets, much like Justin Bieber’s concert, would probably require them to sell a kidney or two, that would not be the case. The club confirmed that tickets available will only cost 1000 rupees per person.
