Rihanna is back with a video of her song Where Have You Been and you can see her slithering like an anaconda, dancing like a gypsy and going topless like...herself.
Yes, you read it right. In her latest video aptly titled Where Have You Been, Rihanna does remind one of a hungry reptile on the prowl for its prey, complete with the slimy movements and snake eyes.
From a tropical Amazon river kind of location, RiRi is then seen shaking a leg in what looks like the deserts of Africa. As the tempo of the song rises, Rihanna's dance beats become faster too and soon we see her in a harem like setup much like the Middle-East. Of course, the short montages of a topless Rihanna are visible throughout.
The track is from Rihanna's album Talk That Talk, which also features We Found Love. It has been produced by Dr. Luke and house producer DJ Calvin Harris, who also produced We Found Love. Rihanna revealed that choreographer Hi-Hat (Step Up 3) helping her with the dance steps.
The beats are good and does make you want to listen to the song on loop but there doesn't seem to be anything fresh in it. While the song itself sounds familiar, it is really the picturisation that stands out.
Rihanna, who tried to be a Princess of China in her last collaboration with Coldplay, seems to have turned into an Amazon warrior princess this time!
