These are horrible, horrible times. Our dear beloved Maggi is facing imminent death and might soon be taken away from us. A whole generation of hostellers and singles owes their survival to it. But alas! Like always, the one we loved most in our lives was the one to stab us in the back (with a dagger made of lead).

But like all exes, there is a reason we are breaking up with her and we know how much break-up can hurt so here are some songs to help you with the pain. Try not to cry too much at how well these fit our situation ...

When You And I Were Young, Maggie- Tom Roush

"Oh, they say we have outlived our time, Maggie

As dated as songs that we've sung

But to me, you're as fair as you were, Maggie

When you and I were young"

Maggie- Colin Hay

"Oh Maggie,

What have you done,

I should have seen it coming,

And to your side I'd run."

Maggie Mae- The Beatles

"Oh dirty Maggie Mae they have taken her away

And she never walk down Lime Street any more

Oh the judge he guilty found her

For robbing a homeward bounder"

The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie: Red Hot Chili Peppers

"Lip stick junkie

Debunked the all in one, she

Came back wearing a smile

Lookin' like someone drugged me"

Maggie May- Rod Stewart

"You lured me away from home just to save you from being alone
You stole my heart and that's what really hurt"
