Sonu Nigam, Jonita Gandhi led their voices to short film, First Date

Singers Sonu Nigam and Jonita Gandhi have sung for First Date, a musical short film, which promises to take people back to the ‘era of innocent love’. Its video, set in Udaipur, captures the essence of first dates and innocent love stories.

First Date which released on Wednesday, talks about a couple who take a step back to stand their ground during adversity and cherish what love truly means. The video has been presented by fashion social network Roposo and online universal platform The Moody Nation. It premiered its audio on Saavn.

“This song beautifully captures the unspoken sweet-nothings of young love. I feel we should promote Indie music majorly. I had a wonderful experience working with the team,” Nigam said in a statement.

In February 2016, Sonu Nigam was in news for a mid-air concert on-board a flight from Jodhpur to Mumbai. Passengers on the chartered flight were pleasantly surprised when singer decided to give them an impromptu concert. The incident took place on January 4. Video that showed him singing songs over the intercom system on a flight soon went viral.
