Supermodel Gigi Hadid is to take centre stage at the upcoming American Music Awards after signing on to co-host the prize-giving.
Gigi will team up with comedian Jay Pharaoh to present the bash, which will feature performances from The Weeknd, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes, John Legend, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Bruno Mars, and Twenty One Pilots, among others, reported People magazine.
Sting, the night’s American Music Award of Merit honouree, will also perform.
The show will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 20.
Confirming her first major co-hosting gig, Gigi said, “I’m so excited to host the 2016 AMAs with Jay Pharoah. Jay is known for his spot-on impressions so I can’t wait to take the stage with him to show my goofy side and celebrate this year’s nominees!”
