Following the walkout by musician Manj Ral from the British Sikh brothers' popular music band RDB, Surjeet Ral, better known as Surj RDB, has confirmed that he will now continue the musical legacy as the sole surviving member of band in honour of his eldest brother Kuldeep Ral aka Kuly, who passed away in 2012.

"I was sad to see my brother leave the band. Along with my late brother Kuly, he was one of the founders of the group," says Surj. While Kuly was the musical leader, and Manj his musical foil, Surj's influence on the musical direction of the group was huge. Surj was also responsible for handling the group's business affairs which saw the band soar to Bollywood success with hits such as Singh Is King with Snoop Dogg, Kambakkht Ishq, Aloo Chaat, Paisa Paisa and Sadi Gali from Tanu Weds Manu to name but a few. Formed over a decade ago, the band changed the perception of UK-Asian music.
