Over 9,000 people, including Bollywood biggies, turned up for the Invasion music festival that took off in Bengaluru on Thursday. British band, The Prodigy, had everyone from Farhan Akhtar and Nikhil Chinapa to Anushka Manchanda, Vishal Dadlani, Mansi Scott and DJ Rohit  Barker headbanging in the front row. Today, the band will perform at Huda grounds, Gurgaon, where the likes of Ranveer Singh (Band Baaja Baarat) and Shekhar Ravjiani (of the Vishal-Shekhar duo) are expected to jive to the electronic act.

The Invasion fest, which features seven electronic acts, including those by Midival Punditz, Jalebi Cartel and Pentagram, has been organised by singer-composer Vishal Dadlani’s new event outfit, called Motherswear. The event sold tickets not only in India, but even in other parts of the world, such as America, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, UK, Australia and even Korea. Tickets are priced at R1,500, and are available at the fest venue. Gates open at 3.30pm.
