Grammy award winning reggae star Sean Paul, who is all set for his maiden tour in India, says he wants to meet Indian fashion designers to incorporate the famous zardozi embroidery on his jackets.
The 39-year-old Jamaican dancehall artist will visit the Taj Mahal and will also make his Indian fans groove to tracks from his newly released album 'Tomahawk Technique' during his trip.
"I have a very limited time in India, so I have very few plans after my tour, like visiting Taj Mahal. I also need to meet Indian designers and customize my jackets with some typical Indian zardozi work. I want to relish every Indian dish," Sean told PTI in an email interview.
He will perform in three cities - Delhi (November 2), Mumbai (November 3) and Bengaluru (November 4) and he has been wanting to visit India for quite some long time.
"I have been waiting to visit India for like six years now and thanks to Blue Note Entertainment, I'll be performing for all my Indian fans. I am ready to explore as much as I could.
"For all that I have heard about this welcoming country, I am sure it will be a terrific threesome among India, Indian people and my music... I like the sound of it. I am bringing Tomahawk Technique and can't wait to see how my Indian fans groove to it," he said.
