Popular rap singer who is known for his hit songs such as Sunny Sunny, Party All Night, Lungi Dance, Blue Eyes and Chaar Bottle Vodka among others, is all set to add another feather to his hat. He will be making his small screen debut as a judge-mentor on an upcoming music-based show.
Giving details about the show, the 31-year-old says, “The concept of the show, which is called RawStar, is quite interesting and crazy. Through the show, which will have digital auditions, I am searching for someone who is even more talented than me… someone who has energy, confidence and is spontaneous. It is not a voice testing show like others. We want to bring forth talented people who don’t have faith in themselves. We will polish them, while keeping their rawness intact.”

Ask him if he fears being overexposed, Honey says, “Mujhe kisi cheez se darr nahi lagta. Pichle saal bhi maine sirf teen gaane hi gaaye the Bollywood main, but woh bahut hit ho gaye. Honestly, in all humility, main yeh keh sakta hoon ki mujhe 300 gaane gaane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Moreover my aim is to reach the whole of India. Mujhe har language main gaana hai. I don’t fear being overexposed, but having said that I know that because of my popularity my responsibility towards my audience has increased a lot.”
Lastly, on being asked about his friends in Bollywood, he say, “Akshay Paaji (Akshay Kumar) and Shah Rukh bhai (Shah Rukh Khan) are cool guys and I can call them my friends. But due to my work commitments, I keep travelling all over the world and hence can’t hang out with them.”
