Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan's much publicised charity visit to India has run into trouble with a Delhi based NGO planning to sue the actress for falsely claiming that she saved 40 children for them. The 23-year-old, who has been constantly 'tweeting' about her charity acts in the
country, is facing the ire of NGO Bachpan Bachao Andolan, who claim that the actress is misinterpreting the facts.

"Over 40 children saved so far... Within one day's work. This is what life is about... Doing this is a life worth living! Oh, and I'm talking about being in India," the 'Mean Girls' star had said on her Twitter page.

However, Bhuvan Ribhu, national secretary of the NGO says that the actress was not even present in the country when the rescue operation took place.

"The rescue operation took place on 8 December when she had not even arrived in India. Since she was not even in the country how can she claim she rescued the children," Ribhu told PTI.

"The raid was done by the Delhi government on a complaint launch by the NGO. We will now sue her for misinterpretation of facts, breach of trust and plagiarism of cause," he said.
