Union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Saturday said underworld don and the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts prime accused Dawood Ibrahim was in Pakistan and this information was conveyed to Pakistan as well as to the United States. "We have information that he is in Pakistan. We have told this to (Pakistan) interior minister too. We want him. We do not know how long it will take but our intelligence agencies are working on it," he said. Shinde said information about Dawood was shared with the US authorities when he was there on an official tour. On Telengana, he said a note for the creation of the separate state would be presented before the Union Cabinet soon. He also ruled out imposition of President's rule in Andhra Pradesh. While presenting his monthly report, Shinde admitted that incidents of communal violence have increased in the country and cautioned all states to remain alert and foil any attempt to disturb peace ahead of the general elections.
"Communal violence incidents have increased since last year. While 410 incidents occurred in the country last year, this year, till now, 451 incidents have taken place," he said.
