Four gun-toting members of a criminal gang were arrested on Monday at the Dwarka courts complex.

The known criminals were in the complex to free an associate from police custody, sources in the force claimed.

The arrests were made by a team of the crime branch following a tip-off.

Ravindra Yadav, additional commissioner of police (crime), said Pankaj, Nizam, Ravi and Vikas Dabas were members of a gang led by a Neeraj Bawana, considered notorious for his criminal record.

The police found three country-made automatic pistols of .32 bore and 18 live cartridges on the four.
