Hailing from the state of Jharkhand, artist Dinesh Kumar Ram, has brought together the moods and emotions of his various inspirations in a show titled Efflux of Nature. The artist is moved by the nature and an indigenous form he has interacted during the two decades of life. This makes all the jingoism lay to rest with regard to nature and formulate everyone to believe that nature is the teacher.

A dash of diverse art forms
A preview of the United Art Fair 2013, Peter Nagy and his curatorial team have assembled a diverse group of art works by some of the most promising talents of the Indian contemporary art scene. A mix of mediums and will give just the hints of the diversity of art works that will be on display at the UAF 2013. While continuing with our radically new model of an artist-driven fair (as opposed to a gallery-driven fair, as most in the world are), in its second edition the United Art Fair will continue to expand parameters.

Holistic understanding of an art form is possible if you understand all the genres of it. Sabrang a musical concert reviving the eternal music of different genres of classical music from India and Pakistan will be held in the city. The concert will be an amalgamation where artists across the border share the same stage to set a benchmark. The music will be another attempt to appreciate and understand the culture of music that enriches us.

Celebrating classical charm
True lovers of dance in its myriad forms and variations may want to spend an evening that celebrates The World Dance Day, 2013. Natya Vriksha presents dancer Geeta Chandran's celebration of the day. There will be an open-house seminar on What is classical anymore. The keynote address will be by Vidushi Dr Kapila Vatsyayan and there will be young dancers festival too. There will be Bharatanatyam presentation by Aditi Balasubramanian, a disciple of Geeta Chandran and Sattriya by Anwesa Mahanta, disciple of Bayanacharya Ghanakanta Bora.
