Three men rob couple in Dwarka

A young couple was reportedly attacked and robbed by three men in Dwarka of southwest Delhi Tuesday night.

Dharmendra Singh (24), a factory employee was teaching his wife Suman (23) how to drive a scooty when near Sector 2 when they were attacked, police said.

HT had in a series last month highlighted how unsafe Dwarka has become for the residents. The incident was reported behind Ministry of External Affairs residential complex around 10.15 pm Tuesday.

“I was teaching my wife how to drive scooty when three men attacked us. They picked up stones and hit me repeatedly on my forehead. They even tore my wife’s clothes. They fled with her gold chain,” said Singh.
