New Delhi witnessed a warm and sunny day on Sunday as both maximum and minimum temperatures rose considerably to make life tough for Delhiites. The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal for this part of the year.
The minimum temperature also rose to three notches above normal to settle at 19.3 degrees Celsius, an IMD official said. The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain and thunderstorm in some parts of the city on Monday.
The maximum and the minimum temperatures are expected to remain at 33 and 19 degrees Celsius respectively.
