With a newly-laid pitch, India would be hoping for better luck at the Keenan Stadium located in Jamshedpur — steel city of the sub-continent.

Last time a match was played here, it took a few rules of vaastu and swapping of the dressing rooms of the visitors with that of the hosts, for India to register their first victory at the ground.

Whether it was luck or vaastu, the Indians managed to break the Keenan jinx, so called because the hosts had never won a match on their five earlier encounters at the stadium.

This will be the eight ODI at the Keenan Stadium and the seventh for India. India has lost five of its matches, won one match and one match between Australia and India was abandoned due to rain.
