A nine-member committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to be headed by Ambala Cantt MLA Anil Vij for preparing charge sheet against Hooda government's 'misdeeds' would have its first sitting at party's office at Panchkula on Tuesday. Talking to Hindustan Times at his residence here, Vij said that the party had asked him to lead the committee to prepare a list of alleged acts of omission and commission of Bhupinder Singh Hooda government during the last nine and a half years.
He said that the committee would meet on Tuesday to finalise the modalities to prepare the charge sheet.
In reply to a question, Vij said that the details of land scamps, corruption in CLUs, land acquisition, SEZs and nexus between builders and the government machinery would be panel's main focus.
He said that the allegations of corruption in government recruitments in all departments would also be inquired into.
Vij said that they would highlight amassing of ill-gotten wealth and properties by the Congress leaders during the past nine years, adding that the leaders who have already left the Congress would not escape the scrutiny.
Giving details, Vij said that the committee would launch a website and ask residents and organisations to give details of acts of corruption with supporting documents to help the committee in preparing a charge sheet, adding that if informers would desire their identity would not be disclosed.
When asked about the time frame, he said at this stage he couldn't set a time frame, but the committee would work vigorously and analyse the data with all sincerity.
In reply to another question, the BJP leader said that the findings of the committee would be presented before the voters during the assembly elections and would not be submitted to governor.
