Although Pakistan have won the series, India still have a lot to play for. At the start of the series, I believed India were a better side, but a lot of credit must be given to Pakistan for the grit and determination they displayed. They had different captains for the two formats and both showed immense composure.
India will have a lot to play for, and play differently. Their form has not been good for quite some time now, and they look a side short on confidence. In such a situation, it's a good idea to do something different.
India's strength is in their batting. They need to bring in fresh players and get some of the batsman already in the eleven to bat in different positions, and thereby think differently.
Young Rahane needs to come in the top 3, and, most importantly, Dhoni has to bat at number 4. Dhoni is the player in form and he needs to stop the rut by putting himself up against the new ball early.
India can also look at Sami in this game. He is a good young pace bowler and the man in form. It's important that one is thrown into the deep end when he is in form. It is also time for India to gauge the mental and physical abilities of the young players, as they are the ones who will take the team forward.
