We explore each and every opportunity to be happy. What better example can we take to exhibit the spirit of unity amongst Indians than those prayers from all quarters to help rescue abducted Anant.

Three-year-old Anant, son of Adobe India CEO, Naresh Gupta, had been kidnapped by two motorcycle-borne youths on his way to school on November 13. He was snatched away from outside his residence in the posh Sector 15-A of Noida, a satellite township of New Delhi.

But after five days of anxiety and apprehensions, Anant returned traveling alone in an autorickshaw. It was not just the Guptas who were relieved. There was a collective sigh of relief in the National Capital Region where even strangers prayed for the safe return of the boy.

Then came a series of narrations. The Uttar Pradesh Police said the boy returned because of their efforts. They were, however, unable to join all the dots. Anant's father later confessed that he had paid rs 25 lakh to abductor as ransom in full knowledge of the ploce, some of the money was even seized. On the other hand, Anant told mediapersons that he was put on the auto by "bhaiyya", which was how he kept referring to his abductors.

While stories behind his rescue is being debated at various levels, the fact that Anant returned home safely is matter of immense joy.
