As
we look back and take stock of 2005, its vivid images cannot but assert themselves
on our minds.
For, some incidents are, as they say, more equals. Bad (read Delhi
blasts), bold (read Sania's shining legs that have become something
of a sort of weapons of mass distraction), beautiful (the Kajrare
dance number that has kept Indians, cutting across all age-barriers,
in thrall. It proved, a thing of beauty, especially when it comes
with a package of Amitabh, Abhishek, Ash and Alisha, is a joy forever).
Similarly,
when MA Jinnah is described as 'secular', the ugly incident enrages and unites
Indians. Even as historians dissected Jinnah's secular credentials, for common
Indians, truth was not far to seek.
"If Jinnah was secular, were Bapu and Nehru communal?"
we asked ourselves.
The anger section of Emotions 2005 deals with some of the most
burning issues of this year that kept us seething with rage.
