The seeds of sorrow, it seems, were sown in the year 2004 itself. Even as the nation grappled with the havoc struck by tsunami, there were worst disasters waiting to happen.

October was a month of disaster, or so it seems.

The nation, it stood witness to a massive earthquake in Kashmir, series of blasts in New Delhi and at least two railway accidents in northern India.

Even as our brethren begin to pick up the pieces of little joys hither and thither, there is pain, agony, anguish and sorrow writ large on their faces…their eyes. A shock that will stay in their sub conscious forever.

It takes years to make a life, a happy life and…

It just took a second for a bomb to explode…

But India holds on. Despite the dark clouds filling their skies, hiding sunshine from their eyes.
