| I dream of an India were there is no discrimination in class, creed or color. The present politicians are the root cause of concern. They manipulate and divide the country as per their requirement and dump them once got elected. Today when India is becoming a rising super power and the economy is flourishing, the present lot of politicians should be dumped and a new vibrant young generation should taken on. It is good to see some corporates now advertising on how choose our leader. It is high time that the citizens of this country should raise above caste creed and color while choosing their leader so that India can boast of having good educated leaders who are interested in social service rather than the present day politicians who are there to grab the money to the maximum within the stipulated term period. |

| No child should ever have to work and every child must go to school. Let's start from the poorest of the poor ie children from orphanages. Let's convert orphanges into boarding schools, afterall the real boarding schools are only glorified orphanes. I am willing to travel to India from USA and spend my time to study orhanges in Delhi and see how we can convert one orphange in to a boarding school. I need help to find where to start and get cooperation from the Orphage management. Can someone help me help the helpless children? |

| I can clearly imagine India of tomorrow that will be much much more advanced than it is nowadays. Only if… whether it is education, health, or job opportunities, women need to be actively and consciously encouraged in all spheres of life. For, a society that ignores its women, ignores itself. Their contribution to society is indispensable, yet female foeticide is common as also exploitation and abuse of women. The country needs to become safe for women of all levels to travel and live alone, so that they have no fear as they get on with their individual lives The mindset of the society needs to be changed. For india to develop it is necessary that the women are educated and empowered. As a sanskrit shloka says, God resides there where women are respected. For the last 60 years, we have not been short on great objectives and lofty dreams, as evidenced by various reports from five-year commisions, rather it is bad execution that has failed us. And common denominator amongst these failures is corruption. dream of India as a super-power in the near future can be thought off,if and only if women are empowered. |

| The strength of our people only comes from nation’s economy. When we got our political Independence in 1947, all trade commerce, industry and major government services were taken over by the richer class of all sections of society.
India needs ‘Block Level Development Economy’ for its citizen rather Special Economy Zone (SEZ) model for some, who are already economically advanced and rich. The wealth of these people is creating modern ‘estate’ not economic zone and they will be future ‘kingdom’ for them to rule. All SEZs were approved by the government till now are taking the advantage of such areas which were near to highly developed towns and are already strong in infrastructure.
Further, MP/MLA’s fund should be given to each block on the basis of their economic development performance rather then fixed amount as given now. Importantly, Block Economic Development model, while implementing such policy, to those who have no resource/ wealth /or land to develop themselves, a priority should be given to them for their livelihood in the economic development region, so that fruit of economy will be shared by all people. Caste dominance is a serious weakness of our economy.

| India of our dreams can be built only through - making people aware through EDUACTION and proving EMPLOYEMENT. Education merely does not mean making anybody read or write his/her name but to make him/her aware of his/her rights and duties as the citizen of India. Eduactions will only bring an ednd to the corruption, social injustice, atrocities and other evils of the society. Employement to all, specially to youth would lead to less chaos, less crime and more focus on the development of India. When we talk of making India a world leader, we always target out political leaders, corruption and rigid system but if we introspect ourselves, we are also responsible for the same. Inspite of blaming them, lets spread the light of eduaction and that too right and appropriate eduaction. This light can only fight the darkness of all the evils and then we can clearly see the India of our dream. JAI HIND! |

| I dream of an India free from poverty & hunger. My India will have all the basic necessities ie food, clothing, shelter & water.Everyone will be educated especially women.Women would enjoy equal status in my India. There would be an end to terrorism . There would be proper medical & transport facilities for one & all. There would be no casteism & hence no reservations. The politicians would work for betterment of our country. We need more of Sunita Williams & kalpana Chawlas , more world cups (in every game) not just cricket .
I am sure we all can work together & achieve the India of our dreams & proudly say Sare Jahan Se achcha hindustan hamara.

| We have to stop contradicting ourselves, on one side we show advertisement s on the television that we have made a promise to the UN that we will remove illiteracy from India completely and on the other hand the ganguly commission suggests a point system where in kids whose parents are graduates will get an extra 10 points to be considered for admission in schools. Are we not depriving people of the right to education by doing this? |

| We can beat the best of countries in all aspects, if we promote public private partnership in more areas where we can't outsource completely to the private sector. We need to develop a good clean public transport system, traffic discipline, good policing, electricity & water supply, good roads, good road directions/signals, improve our airports and railway stations to match the best in the world, improve the air quality - reduce pollution by increasing the green belts, etc. etc. Upcoming games is an opportunity to do most of the above mentioned to make a begining. After all this has been done in Delhi it can be a good case study to use for other states to follow or build upon and implement. The more we keep with the government the slower the development will be, hence suggest public private partnership in as many ventures as possible, let the private sector make money from the ventures as well, in return the maintenance would happen. Not enough space to write else would have detailed. |

IMAGINE the INDIA that can be:-
Over the ages India has changed a lot. India is no longer considered by the western world as the land of Snake charmers and Maharajas only. World looks up to India as one country, where there are business opportunities. World is finally taking notice of India. Still there is lot needed to be done. The gap between India and Bharat needs to be closed down.
I imagine my India to be free of casteism. Where people transcending caste, creed and religion live together and work towards the prosperity of the country. Where Hindus and Muslims visit temples and Mosques together. Where Dusshera is celebrated in Gurudwaras. Where Guru Nanak’s and Jesus Christ’s birthdays are celebrated by the people irrespective of religion.
I dream of an India where both male and female child share equal love and attention of their parents. Where the cruel act of female infanticide is completely abolished. Where girls are not malnourished and have right to quality education. Where bride and the groom have the right to say “No” to dowry.
I imagine India to be World Champion in every sport. Last but not the least, I dream of an India, where there will be no power and water crisis, no poverty and unemployment.

| Gandhiji once described the India of his dreams saying that women should enjoy equal rights as men. Today, women are succeeding in all walks of life. the contribution of women in country's growth cannot be denied. But there is a opposite side to this. Everyday we hear reports of molestation and rape and debates over dress code for women. The India of my dreams is one where the women are as free as men.Everytime a case of rape comes to light, a policy is framed. But how far are these policies successful? what we need is betterment of basic facilities like public toilets, safe transport system and the freedom of getting out of the homes without a constant fear of being vulnerable targets. Also, the burning issues of domestic violence,dowry-deaths and female foeticide need to be tackled. The mindset of the society needs to be changed. For india to develop it is necessary that the women are educated and empowered. As a sanskrit shloka says,God resides there where women are respected. |
