An icon of the Indian Television news industry and one of India's most credible journalists, Rajdeep Sardesai is the brain behind CNN-IBN. His handling of issues pertaining to Indian politics and his very own style of analytical journalism has inspired many a journalist across the country. He is known for anchoring some of the biggest programmes on Indian television. 

Rajdeep has been awarded with many national and international awards for excellence in journalism, and his work on the Gujarat riots won him the international press award.  Backed by 18 years of journalistic experience in print and TV , he has covered the biggest stories in India - from the terrorist camps in Pakistan , India going nuclear,   caste and communal violence in the country to elections in India and across the sub-continent. He has contributed to several books and is a regular columnist.
