Alain Viot
CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Lladró


Alain Viot is CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Lladro. He had previously been Director of Business Development for exclusive brands in the Richemont group, a multinational of luxury industry groups together 18 exclusive brands in jewelry, watches, fashion and accessories like Cartier, Baume & Mercier, Van Cleef Arpels, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, Dunhill or Montblanc, among others. He is also a member of the board of the Spanish jewelry brand Carrera y Carrera, in which Lladró is a shareholder.

Born in France, Viot, Mr Viot did his MBA at the French business school ESSEC and started work for Richemont in 1987 as a product manager for Cartier in the French market. In 1993 he took over as world Marketing Manager for the jewelry and watch brand, and soon afterwards moved to Madrid as executive president of the branch office Vendôme LG Ibérica (Cartier, Piaget, Baume & Mercier, Panerai and Dunhill), relaunching their products on the Spanish and Portuguese markets. At this destination, dating from 1994 to 2000, he headed a 160-strong team increasing Vendôme LG Ibérica sales to 60 million euros. His next stage in the group took him to New York as Cartier president. In his last two years with Richemont, working from London, he coordinated world marketing strategies for the 18 luxury companies that are part of the group.
