38 year-old Odile Roujol, a graduate from the HEC Business School in Paris (1989), has been General Manager of Lancôme International since June 1st, 2006.
After working for Chanel Bourjois then YSL Cosmétiques, Odile Roujol joined the L'Oréal Group ten years ago. Firstly in charge of Marketing for Makeup Products then Director of Marketing for Beauty Products, she was appointed General Manager of Lancôme France in 2001. In January 2003, she left for the United States, a critical market for Lancôme for its revenue input, as Deputy General Manager / Senior Vice President of Marketing Lancôme U.S.A.
Back in France in February of 2005, Odile Roujol was appointed Senior Vice President of Lancôme International and was already managing the Brand's international direction. Her mission then consisted in supervising the development, execution and implementation of all marketing and brand event programs, and in determining communication and advertising strategy worldwide.
Her experience of markets and of the Lancôme brand, her expertise in harnessing sectors for development, trade and retail issues and sales outlets, plus her unparalleled ability to motivate teams are today all essential assets for the development and success of the world's premier brand in selective retail channels. |
